Enemy Ship:
Similar attributes to player ship (i.e., movement). Uses a laser beam weapon like the player’s (Single shots with semi distant range). May also use missiles. The ship also tries to weave between asteroids
(Frantic AI):
Much more (pun not intended) flighty than the other apathy minions. He quickly circles around you, just barely out of reach, and occasionally spits projectiles at you. He rarely stops moving. If he gets below 25% health, he’ll distance himself even more.
Enemy Freighter Crew:
Inside the freighter compartments (there will be about 3 to 5) it is cramped and vertical, roughly 300 by 600 pixels wide (off the top of my head). There are numerous boxes which they hide behind, and they are very cautious about proceeding. They hop out from cover occasionally to shoot at you, but after some time they make their way down closer to the bottom.
Gun-wheel:
Another freighter enemy. Much ballsier than the crew members. They are quick, deal small ranged damage, and will stay out to attack you for longer. Will try to utilize more of the map space, and attack you from different locations.
They have less health and damage.
Player Crew:
Basically only used to transport spice: Follow the player within a certain distance, and collect and pick up spice crates. Once they’ve picked up a crate, they return on a path backward to the ship to deliver it.
They may be involved in combat, shooting and attacking enemy crew. In this case, they will have the same AI as the freighter crew.
Asteroid Mimic:
Wait in orbit and look like asteroids. They become active and try to attack you when you’re in proximity, or try to attack them. Slow to start moving, but reach a maximum speed of [ship speed - 2]. Have a wider visual range during pursuit (twice that of their dormant visual range). Should take about 2 or 3 hits to kill.
